So 2005 wasn’t a bad run for me, but I’ve got some really great things lined up for 2006. I’ll reveal much after the New Year. I’m sure you’re giddy with excitement.

Anyway, hope the Holidays are happy for ya. I’ll catchup after the New Year.

Great concept art for the wraping paper. I think it was a Demetri Martin joke about using Birthday paper at Christmas and then adding Jesus to it. I actually did that. This is a cool blog you have here. I liked your War Photographer cartoon and think it is the best one that Channel Frederator has shown so far. I hope you keep making cool stuff since it reminds me of Samurai Jack and that bar conceptual reminds me of the Venture Bros. in a way both great cartoons.

Keep up the great work, man. Congrats on War Photographer being picked as one of the top 5 videos of the year on pitchforkmedia!
The video is awesome. Can’t wait to see what you unleash in 06.

Hey good people of 2006. Thanks a bunch for the comments.

mike- Hope your holidays were good, man. Unfortunately, I can’t take credit for the paper concept. This was a cover assignment for Boston’s Weekly Dig. Their art director Tak rocks the most.

wout- Thanks for dropping by the dumpster here. You’re obviously no stranger to drawing, sir. Fun stuff over on your blog.

toliverchap- Thanks much for the kind compliments. I’m afraid I can’t take credit for the gift wrap concept (see above) but I swear I came up with the War Photographer concept. heh. I’d say you’re right about Samurai Jack and the Venture Bros being an influence on these drawings. Neither were in mind when the projects were approached but they’re both a huge inspiration to me. Hope you’ll stop by again.

tsm- Big thanks, sir. The video has definitely turned a lot of eyes my way. Now the pressure’s on. I’m hoping some of your talent oozes through the computer to me, then maybe Pixar will call me up! Heh.

Forgot to mention that when I first came across the WP video link at Drawn! I sent it to peeps all over the studio. They got a huge kick out of it!
